Color is one of the most critical elements defining a fabric's identity. Yurda Örme's dyeing and printing processes reflect an integrated production philosophy built on color precision, technical consistency, and environmental responsibility.

Dyeing Process and Technological Infrastructure

Our knitted fabric dyeing process can be applied at two different stages, from yarn to fabric. Reactive dyes provide high color fastness and vibrancy on cotton, modal, and viscose-based fabrics, while disperse dyes are preferred for polyester and synthetic blends. Our jet dyeing machines apply minimal mechanical stress to the fabric, preserving its structure and hand feel, while short liquor ratios significantly reduce water and energy consumption.

Our Printing Methods

Rotary printing offers the ideal solution for patterns requiring sharp lines and high color repeatability in large volumes. Our digital printing technology, on the other hand, enables rapid prototype production with minimal waste for small runs and special collections, delivering superior results especially for designs requiring photographic detail and gradient transitions. Both methods use OEKO-TEX®-compliant inks and chemicals.

Finishing Treatments

The finishing treatments applied after dyeing and printing — antistatic, moisture management, anti-pilling, and softening finishes — optimize the fabric's functional performance and hand feel for the end-user experience. Hypoallergenic finishing options are also available for underwear and home textile fabrics.

All our processes are carried out in compliance with GOTS and OEKO-TEX® standards, and production wastewater is treated through our treatment facility with the goal of zero harmful discharge to the environment.
